Installation of a Deacon Associate

On September 1, 2018 the parish of Copper Cliff and Lively welcomed the Rev. Dr. Patricia Brace (Deacon Patti) as an Honourary Deacon Associate for the parish. The Rev. Brace will be serving the congregations in the parish on a part-time basis as she prepares for her eventual ordination to the priesthood and a parish assignment somewhere in the Diocese of Algoma.  We welcome Patti among us and look foward to sharing her journey of discernment and sharing in her gifts for ministry.

"Almighty God, the giver of all good gifts, who of thy divine providence hast appointed divers Orders in thy Church: Give thy grace, we humbly beseech thee, to Patti and any who are called to any office and administration in the same; and so replenish them with innocency of life, that they may faithfully serve before thee, to the glory of thy great name, and to the benefit of thy holy Church; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen"  (Book of Common Prayer p. 211)
