Hello,

For this week's resources we are drawing on an ancient tradition called "All Souls' Day". This day is observed sometime in the 8 days following All Saints' Day and is a time when we give thanks once again for the lives of those who have died in the past year or so.  As we gather we also give thanks for the sacrifice of the soldiers and others who died in the wars from our recent past that enabled us to live in freedom.  We trust that the meditations, readings, and other resources will give you the opportunity to express your own prayers and thoughts and receive from God that peace which passes understanding.

On Wednesday November 11 we are asked to stop what we are doing at 11 am and spend two minutes in silence as our way of recognizing Remembrance Day this year.  "WE WILL REMEMBER THEM"
