Home worship resources for December 6

On this, the Second Sunday of Advent, we join many churches in focussing on the concept of peace. We pray this day for peace in the world and peace in our homes and peace in our hearts. Sadly police departments are reporting a rise in domestic violence during this pandemic and so we also pray for the victims of domestic violence and ask God to lead them into a peaceful resolution to their problem.  We give thanks for the various ministries and support services which help in this area and pray for God's strength and guidance as they reach out with the hands of Christ to bring peace into shattered lives.
