Once again volunteers from the congregation of Christ Church in Lively provided a low cost breakfast for the participants of the Walden Winter Carnival. The volunteers, whose age ranged from 8 to 80 cooked and served meals to 663 customers which meant taht 1300 sausages were consumed over the two days of the carnival. Great thanks are extended to the volunteers and to Copper Cliff Dairy (they provide the milk products). The total proceeds were down a little from prior years owing to increased costs and will once again be distributed to the Scouts, Guides and Friendship Gro

Submitted by Glen Miller on January 29, 2010 - 4:55pmAfter much discussion the decision was made to extend the relationship with St. John the Divine in Copper Cliff with an annual review. The decision passed with no votes against but one abstention. Continued efforts will be made to see enough growth in the congregation at Christ Church for a return to full-time status.
